Immaculate Conception Church is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Calinog, Iloilo, Philippines. It is also called Calinog Church, and its patroness is Our Lady of Immaculate Conception.

History
For a long time, Calinog was a visita of Passi. It is believed that it was established in 1740 and its name underwent several changes during the Spanish conquest. It was previously called Binocsocan and then it was referred to as Nalpa, and then finally it was called Calinog as it is today.
Together with the town of Lambunao, it was a parish starting in 1742 and for the next couple of years its status would change from being one with Lambunao as a parish or as an annex to Passi (1742, 1747, and 1753). Fr. Francisco Magarzo assigned there in 1753. However, by the year 1765 it became once again a visita of Passi and remained so for the next five years. Fr. Manuel Marin was assigned in 1767 and Fr. Matias Carbajal in 1769. After being established as a mission, its parish was founded in 1796.
Calinog Church, placed under the patronage of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, was constructed by Fr. Crenscencio Bravo in 1874. The church was consecrated on September 27, 1883. He also built the convent. In addition, the cemetery was built by Fr. Pablo Lazcano.
Architecture
Measuring 76 meters long and 17 meters wide, Immaculate Conception Church in Calinog, Iloilo is built in Baroque style. The church itself is situated in a gated complex. A grotto was built in the gospel side of the church by the Delos Reyes family in 1948 as commemoration of the apparition in France.
Its facade features a porte cochere, with ornate metal-work adorning its ceiling. The main entryway is through an arch door that leads to the interiors. Its front wall is pierced by arch and round punctures. Framing the facade are church towers with niches of holy figures. They may appear out of symmetry. While they both bear belfries above them, the gospel side has a lantern and pyramidal roof while the other side bears the image of Jesus perched on arch columns.
The pediment is an all-together different affair. It is decorated by pilasters and undulating edges. Right in the middle of it is the niche of the patroness enclosed in an arch and topped with a cross.
The interior feature a barrel vault ceiling. The choir loft is illuminated by three apertures from the facade. Along its nave walls are an arcade of windows.
Celebration
The feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception is held every December 8. On the other hand the municipality celebrates Hirinugyaw-Suguidanonay Festival, a week-long celebration that starts from the last week of January until the first week of February.
Services
The parish office is closed every Monday. It is opened 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning and 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon from Tuesday to Saturday. On Sunday, it is open only in the morning from 9:00 to 11:30.
