History
Balasan was established as a town through a Royal Decree issued on July 10, 1895. Its church was established in the same year.
Architecture
The entrance is shaded by the portico, and it is flanked by images of saints. The facade has a large pediment upon which the Marian symbol can be seen. The concrete bell tower stands in the gospel side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Anne is July 26.
