Santa Teresa de Avila Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Carles, Iloilo, Philippines.

History
Carles was called Boalcaue when it was established in 1581. People left the settlement due to frequent Moro piracy. It was annexed to the town of Panay and then of Pilar, Capiz in 1856. The settlement was transferred to the south, and it was known as Badiang. It was renamed after Spanish Governor Jose Maria Carles upon its conversion to a town in 1862.
Its church, placed under the patronage of St. Therese of Avila, was a visita of Aranguel (President Roxas) in 1704 and then of Casanayan (of Pilar, Capiz). It seceded from its mother parish when it became a parish in 1878 with Fr. Francisco Aguirre as the first parish priest.
Architecture
The church is sparing of details. Its plain front wall is accented by brown pilasters, posts, and portico. Above the main portal are niches of the holy figures. The pediment is surmounted by a cross.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Therese of Avila is October 15.
