St. Martin de Porres Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Layog, Maasin, Iloilo, Philippines.

History
The plan to build a parish in Barangay Layog was presented by Fr. Pedro Esmalla and Fr. Anastacio Villanueva to Archbishop Jaime L. Sin on October 30, 1973. The plan bore fruit when the parish was established on February 22, 1974, with Fr. Anastacio Villanueva as the first parish priest.
The brick church was built in August 1975, and to serve a bigger population of believers a new church was planned for construction. The property it stands on was donated by Fruto Vidal, and the project was initiated within the term of Fr. Francisco Angustura (1989 to 1992) and completed during the time of Fr. Elmer Tababa (1992 to 1997).
Sisters belonging to the Congregation of the Hijas de Jesus also served the religious needs of the parish community consisting of the areas in Abilay, Bolo Bugot, Cabangcalan, Canawili, Dagami, Layog, Nasuli Dalusan, Panalian, Subog, Ubian, and Tuy-an West.
Architecture
The beige-yellow church is an edifice sparing of decorations. Above the portico by the rectilinear doorway is the image of the patron, St. Martin de Porres, and on the wall extending to the pediment is a blind arch with a cross. It is flanked by the arch windows containing depictions of holy figures, and the bell tower is erected in the gospel side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Martin de Porres is February 15.
Services
The parish office is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday. On Sunday, it is open in the morning only.
