Holy Child Jesus Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Altavas, Aklan, Philippines.

History
In the past, Altavas belonged to the municipality of Batan and then later of Lagatic (present-day New Washington). Its original site was along the shorelines, and the destructive attacks by the Moro raiders prompted its people to move to the interior lands. It was made into a separate town and renamed Jemino after Monsignor Jemino, the Bishop of Cebu.
During the American period, it was annexed to New Washington through Act No. 720 on April 4, 1903. It was made into a separate municipality by virtue of Executive Order No. 88 issued by Governor General Francis Burton Harrison on November 13, 1917. It was renamed from Jemino to Altavas (after Senator Jose Cortes Altavas) and formally inaugurated on December 1, 1917.
The church was established in 1939.
Architecture
A driveway stretches the portico, which spans the entire width of the facade. Its upper register consists of six apertures each with balconies. The pediment is trimmed with dentil and punctured with round hollow. The entrance is recessed and flanked by twin bell towers.

The feast day of the Holy Child Jesus is January 22.
