History
In history, Sapian was a visita of Batan, Aklan according to historical records in 1714. The church was established in 1936.
Architecture
The church’s facade is embellished by concrete bands, dividing it into three recessed sections each with an entryway and three arch conjoined windows. It is flanked by pierced walls. The bell tower is in the epistle side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Anne is July 26 in a town celebration called Tilibyugan sa Talahong Festival.
Services
The parish office is open 8:30-11:30 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM daily except Tuesday and Sunday.
Pre-Jordan Seminar is held at 9:30 AM on Sunday, and baptism is held at 11:00 AM on the same day.
Confession is heard at 4:00 PM every Wednesday.
Pre-Cana Seminar is 9:30AM-4:00 PM every fourth Sunday of the month. Confirmation for people preparing for the sacrament of matrimony is scheduled at 11:00 AM every fourth Saturday. Wedding is scheduled at 6:00 AM ever Saturday.
