Immaculate Conception Church is a Roman Catholic and Marian church located in Leyte, Leyte, Philippines.

History
Its old name was Hiraite and later renamed to Leyte. The Augustinians began converting the natives to Catholicism, and they were taken over by the Jesuits in 1595 and remained until 1768. During their stay, they established a wooden convent and a church dedicated to the devotion to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception
Its parish and the town were established in 1851, separating from the municipality of Carigara.
