History
Parish of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary was established in 1931. Its church was completed two year later but was torn down in the 1970s and a new one was rebuilt.
Architecture
At the entrance of the church is a portico made of gable roof. Its exterior wall is of such thickness that the entrance is recessed, and atop the entrance are gable planes one on top of the other. Flanking it are wall surfaces adorned with angled grooves. The pediment contains an ornate niche of the patroness holding the Holy Child, rays radiating from the figure, and enclosed in a cartouche and hexagonal frame. It is flanked by grooved triangles, pilasters, and rhomboids containing low relief of rosettes. The apex of the pediment is a ringed cross and a dove, representing the Holy Spirit. The bell tower is minimalist, consisting of three slender columns with walled uppermost level and winged figures, a structure that resembles the bell towers of San Nicolas and Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Celebration
The feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is held every first Sunday of October.
