The church began as Santa Maria Soledad Torres de Acosta Mission Station. It was canonically erected into a parish by Most Reverend Rolando Octavus J. Tria Tirona, OCD, the Archbishop of Caceres on June 30, 2023. Rev. Fr. John Anthon C. Valencia was appointed as the first parish priest.
