History
The church was established on January 23, 1999 and it became a parish in 2005.
Architecture
The church stands on a hill top facing the sea. Its facade is framed by tapering buttresses on either sides, and it is punctured with round and rectilinear windows (which come in three’s). The central section of the wall is flanked with pilasters. Above the facade is an octagonal steeple made of a belfry, a dome, and spire.
Celebration
The feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is first Wednesday of September.
