History
The church began as a chapel, and a plan to elevate its status to a parish was initiated during the term of Archbishop Onesimo C. Gordoncillo, D.D. Fr. Anthony Gonzales was the first chaplain, succeeded by Fr. Jesus Niel Peter Advincula.
It was during the time of Archbishop Jose F. Advincula, D.D. that it became a parish, and Fr. Wilson Navarrosa was the first parish priest.

The feast day of St. Nicholas of Myra is December 6.
