History
Mass was heard in a make-shift place of worship in a location near St. Augustine chapel during the nine-day preparation for the fiesta in 2008, according to an article by The Freeman.
In 2012, a property in Sitio Summerland was bought. On August 18, 2016 it was established as a quasi-parish with Fr. Anthony A. Morillo, OAR as its first chaplain. As a quasi-parish, matrimonial rites, baptisms, and other sacraments can be performed.
Its founding day is August 6th.
Architecture
The church is undergoing renovation as of this writing. The year of its completion is inferred from a 2016 article that stated it was three years old.
Celebration
Feast day of St. Augustine of Hippo is celebrated every last Sunday of August.
