History
The canonical erection of the church as a parish took place on September 30, 2016. It serves the faithful living in Guindarohan in Minglanilla and villages Cantao-an and Cogon in Naga City.
For a time, religious services were held in an old village chapel and then a new church is being built that was consecrated on December 27, 2022.

The church is undergoing construction as of this writing.
Celebration
The feast of Virgen de los Remedios falls every December 28 while the feast of St. Roch is every August 26.
