San Bonaventura Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Balangkayan, Eastern Samar, Philippines.

History
The town was carved out from Llorente by organizing the following barrios under the Balangkayan: Balangkayan, Kabay, Maramag, Julag and Bangong. This was made possible by virtue of Republic Act No. 2181 on May 2, 1959. Its size was enlarged by the addition of Balogo and Tabe (of Maydolong) through Republic Act No. 2891 on June 19, 1960.
The church was established on September 8, 1961.
Architecture
The church is situated in a corner of intersection of the main road. The quadrangular bell tower is in the right side of the small front yard, which is bounded by the fence and well-tended gardens. The church’s facade is made of concrete with a portico and an overhang by the entrance. The main door is flanked by arch windows framed by walls of stone exterior. The pediment is a large glazed glass containing the cross, Holy Eucharist, and Chi-Ro monogram along with Greek letters alpha and omega.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Bonaventure is July 16.
