History
The origin of Maslog was as a barrio of Dolores in 1940. Its population grew through local migration of people from Borongan, Sulat, and Can-avid. It became a town by virtue of Republic Act No. 4221 on June 19, 1965.
The church was founded on December 8, 1982.
Architecture
The church has an octagonal footprint and its roof is in the shape of a pyramid. Its bell tower is built in the gospel side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Isidore is May 27.
