History
The Mill Hills Fathers through Fr. Lawrence Daniel Rogan initiated the founding of the church, which was declared a parish on February 9, 1930. Fr. John Gfoeller was its first parish priest.
The religious order soon left and transferred the reins of the parish to the secular clergy. Hence, Fr. Jose B. Buenaflor became the first parish priest who was a Filipino and he began his term on April 25, 1963.
The church was erected on a property donated by Concepcion Arroyo. It survived great fire twice, the first in 1958 and the other in 1966.
Architecture
The church is built with its facade hemmed by bell towers. Pointed arches are seen in its apertures as well as suggested by the numerous decorative moldings on the church wall. The pediment is pierced with a round opening flanked by lancet windows and it is topped with a ringed, budded cross. The bell towers meanwhile culminate in four-sided pyramid of a roof.
Celebration
The fiesta of Sta. Teresita del Niño Church is every October 1st.
