St. John the Baptist Church is a Roman Catholic church located in C. Tady St., Sara, Iloilo, Philippines.

History
A settlement by the riverbank of Aswe was the first site of Sara, which was called San Juan. People moved away from the river upon a cholera outbreak and transferred to the present-day location. It became a town in 1877 and renamed Sara after a sister of a parish priest.
The church became a parish in 1895 with Fr. Paulino Diaz as the first parish priest.
Architecture
Finials decorate the peaks of posts of the church. A portico with a gable roof is built at its entrance. The facade has a central panel flanked by splayed walls, and they are pierced with arch windows with depictions of holy scenes. Interestingly, it rises to a belfry that is surmounted with the image of the Sacred Heart Jesus, and yet a bell tower is erected in the epistle side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. John the Baptist is June 24.
