History
Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish was established in 1958 during the term of Bishop Lino Gonzaga for the spiritual needs of the Chinese community in the city. Church-building was funded by donation made by Simeona K. Price.
Architecture
The portico is erected in front of the entrance and it connects the church to the gate. The facade is decorated with recessed wall surfaces flanking the pediment, and its pillars culminate in finials in their peaks. The image of the Sacred Heart is above the rectilinear aperture of the pediment. The bell tower is found in the epistle side.
Celebration
The feast day of the Sacred Heart is second Sunday of June.
Services
Confession is every after mass except Sundays.
Holy Hour is scheduled between 4:15 and 5:15 PM every Thursday.
Devotion to Alliance of the Two Hearts is after 5:30 PM every first Friday of the month.
Aurora / Dawn Procession is at 4:30 AM every first Saturday of the month.
