History
The church was declared a parish by Bishop Bishop Teotimo Pacis, DD. on April 23, 1967. It is mother parish of Archdiocesan Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Tigbao and Our Lady of the Guadalupe Parish in Abucay.
Architecture
The church is built with a semi-circular shape. Its pyramidal roof is extended into a gable towards the entrance. The main door is flanked by angels and is protected from the elements through an overhang with an emblem of the parish. Its supporting posts extend to a church a tower above, with a huge glass installation depicting the patron and capped with a pyramidal roof and a cross. The church’s front wall is a play of glass windows, varying wall surfaces, moldings, and stone exterior.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Jude Thaddeus is October 28.
