History
The Diocese of Bacolod created the chaplaincy through a decree signed by Bishop Vicente Navarra in 2013. Its jurisdiction included Terra Nova 1 and 2, La Salle Ville, Grand Ville 1, 2, and 3, Forest Hills and Arcelo, all in Barangay Mansilingan.
Its creation was prompted by the petition by the lay people, Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish in Mansilingan, and St. Jude Thadeus Parish in Alijis.
Celebration
The feast day of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is every first Sunday of June.
