St. Michael the Archangel Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Sebastian, Samar, Philippines.

History
The town was known as Balugo after the river along which its settlement was established. Its church was erected as a visita of Paranas. During the Spanish colonial times, its name was changed to San Sebastian by Fr. Domingo Ruiz.
It was organized into a town in the 19th century, but it lost its independence when it was absorbed to Paranas by virtue of Act No. 960 on October 23, 1903. It was re-established as a separate municipality through Republic Act No. 543 on June 17, 1950.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Michael the Archangel is September 29 and the town celebrates the Pasayan Festival.
