St. James the Apostle Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Ricardo, Southern Leyte, Philippines.

History
San Ricardo is one of the towns in Panaon Island and in 1864, it counted Pintuyan as one of its villages. During the American occupation, it lost its municipal status and the seat of the government was transferred to Pintuyan by virtue of Act 1616 of the Philippine Commission on March 19, 1907. It would become a town once again through Republic Act No. 6360 that was approved on July 22, 1971.
The church was established in 1993.
Architecture
The facade is punctured by arches, round hollow, and pierced wall panels. The entrance is shaded by an overhang, and above is an arch whose lunette extends into a rose window that encloses a cross and is in itself enclosed by a blind pointed arch. The pediment is decorated by dentil, a decorative object that is also found at the walls flanking it. The bell tower is erected in the epistle side. The image of the patron is not seen in the front wall, instead it stands in the courtyard a few meters from and at the right side of the entrance.
Celebration
The feast day of St. James the Apostle is July 25.
