Saint James the Apostle Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Silago, Southern Leyte, Philippines.

History
In the olden times, Silago was a village of Hinunangan. It separated from the latter and attained independence as a municipality through Executive Order No. 326 that was signed by President Elpidio Quirino on June 20, 1950. Its territory was redrawn with the passage of Republic Act No. 5962 on June 21, 1969.
The church was established in 1986.
Architecture
The low-level church is made asymmetrical with the presence of a quadrangular bell tower rising from the gospel side. Pilasters divide the front wall into sections, with those flanking the entrance pierced with pointed arches. Sacred Heart of Jesus is featured upon the lunette of the arch entrance door. The facade is flanked by free-standing wall punctured with arch portal. The image of the patron is installed in a rose window by the pediment.
Celebration
The feast day of St. James is July 25.

The parish office is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Wednesday to Saturday. Every Monday, it is open 2:00 to 5:00 PM and every Tuesday, it is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
